About Me

Nice to meet you! My name is Aaron Edwards. I am a marketing professional who has lived in Asheville for the last 18 years. My incredible career journey has allowed me the opportunity to succeed in marketing roles in a wide array of fields, including education, fine arts, renewable energy, environmental software, and health and wellness.

I would describe myself professionally as someone with both technical expertise and creative flair. I am equally adept at interpreting complex data as I am at crafting a compelling narrative. I value empathy and inclusion in the workplace, and I am always looking to grow my skillset. I am eager to make a difference, and prefer roles that help others succeed.

On a personal level, I am a proud North Carolina native, with roots in rural Stokes County. I am a first generation college student, and proud graduate of UNC Asheville. I fell in love with Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains at a young age and have called it my home for all of my adulthood.

If you’ve spent any time in Asheville, then you know the saying about how “if you’re meant to be here, good things happen to you.” That is certainly true for me. I met the love of my life, Elizabeth, who I have been married to for 9 years. I am the father to two beautiful girls, who bring me the deepest and purest joy every day. More than anything, I am passionate about spending time with my wife and daughters.

In my free time, I am always looking to experience life to its fullest. I enjoy traveling to new and exciting places with my family, looking for vintage and antique wares, and participating in the Asheville City soccer league, where I am captain of Outsider Brewing FC. I am proud to be a volunteer coach for U9 and U5 ABYSA girls soccer teams in Asheville, where I am approaching my 4th season of coaching for each team. I am also an active volunteer for the Sand Hill-Venable PTO, where I am active on both the Fundraising and Communications Committees.
